August 19th has been marked as the World Photography Day since 2010 in order to celebrate the 177-year-old journey of photography. Photography was commercially introduced in 1839, a date generally accepted as the birth year of practical photography. Photography is a great way to showcase just about anything – current world events, emotions, different interpretations, the list goes on and on.
I am very interested in photography and just love it so much that I wanted to take it on as a hobby. We bought this camera in the beginning of this year and I just absolutely love the one we bought. It is very easy to use and takes fantastic pictures. After mastering the art of photography (and honestly, with this camera, I still learn something new every time I use it!) I will move on to a more intermediate level camera. The Canon EOS Rebel is a great beginner camera though and I would recommend it to anyone who would like to get into photography.
My cousin, Walter, is a photographer and takes AMAZING pictures. Below are some from his Facebook collection that I stole to put on my blog, thanks Walter! He (and my brother, Nicky) are the reasons I am so interested in learning more about photography. I hope to be half as good as them one day. Practice, practice, practice!!
